Tekken Movie Poster

(Honestly, I thought it was Romnick Sarmienta, lol..)

Tekken Movie (2009): The Cast and Characters

Let’s take a quick and interesting look at the awesome cast of the upcoming Tekken: Live Action Movie:

jinJon Foo as Jin Kazama

Who’s this guy? Frankly, I’ve never heard of him until I checked the casting call of Tekken. He’s been in a couple of martial arts movies as a stunt actor including Batman Begins (one of the shadow warriors). Congratulations to this guy for getting a break! If you ask me, I think he’s a bit too young to play the Jin Kazama character. Hmm, we’ll see when this movie comes out *fingers crossed*. Megamovies: New And Upcoming Blockbusters to Watch Out For!

Last week, I bought a copy of Wizard in a booksale (for Php130, a bit expensive for an old ish). The mag cover caught my attention, being a superhero movie fan and everything. But I wasn’t disappointed with the contents, since it featured my recent fave superhero movies like TDK, Iron Man, and Wanted. And much more, actually!

With the success of previous superhero movies and comicbook/cartoon series, Hollywood has prepared a long line of up-and-coming movies that will surely leave you wanting and waiting and eagerly anticipating till they come to the big screen.

Here are some of the most anticipated megamovies out to hit the theaters and cinemas soon:

The Scariest Joker Ever!

This is probably one of the best fanfilms i’ve ever seen! I’m pretty sure those hardcore Batman fans will find the characters in this film more true to the comicbook characters than those who portrayed them in Hollywood. I especially liked the way they dressed up Joker here…so insanely sinister and creepy, I almost had goosebumps.

Transformers: How’d They Do That?!

Paramount Pictures recently released two behind-the-scenes clips for the upcoming Transformers movie. Mostly about special effects…I’m confused though, because I think Clip 1 is from the first movie. But clip 2 is indeed from day one shoot of the 2nd movie.  However, it’s still enjoyable to watch…so go check it out!

Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen (2009)

Yes, folks! The new Transformers movie finally has a title, as confirmed in their official site (actually, it’s all over the web already).

Although the final cast of the movie is not yet 100% confirmed, we can be sure that Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox will once again be portraying their roles in the previous movie as Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes, despite Shia’s unfortunate accident last month.

Movie Review: ‘The Dark Knight’

WARNING: Spoilers ahead!

“Either you die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”
- Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, The Dark Knight [2008]

A great movie as I had expected it to be! I enjoyed it so much though there were parts where I can’t keep up with the dialogue, I had to say to myself “ok, what was that again?” and “who are we talking about here?”

Basically, the movie was about Batman‘s greatest challenge – mentally and emotionally. Being Gotham city’s masked crime-fighting vigilante for the longest time, he is now faced with a fearful and angry crowd, an emotional rival, and an anonymous antagonist with a twisted appetite for destruction and chaos, who will eventually become his greatest nemesis.

Movie Concept: Batman vs. Superman (or is it the other way around?)

[Note: Please cast in your vote in the poll at the end of this post.]

OK, first I want to inform you guys that I’m trying my best not to swoon while I’m writing this post. *sigh*

One day I was surfing in the net and I came across these fanarts:

Superman Batman movie

Ahh…evil, evil minds…

Now, why did I say this is evil? Well, simply because it makes people like me anticipate something that is hardly ever coming out. This type of movie- a Batman-Superman movie- is very promising yet extremely difficult to realize. Why? Because it’s a Batman VERSUS Superman movie, those are two big, BIG superheroes who are not only combined in a single film, but will actually FIGHT in the film. And usually, when madman producers think of stuff like this, it ends in a disaster. Why? because it usually fails the expectations of the fans and the general public.

Movie Feature: The Forbidden Kingdom

Forbidden Kingdom Movie

“A once-in-a-lifetime tag team” as they all put it. The legendary actor and my all-time-fave Chinese guy Jackie Chan joined forces with “the one” Jet Li, this movie promises great moves as well as great beer, I mean, great entertainment. :D
