Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen (2009)

Yes, folks! The new Transformers movie finally has a title, as confirmed in their official site (actually, it’s all over the web already).

Although the final cast of the movie is not yet 100% confirmed, we can be sure that Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox will once again be portraying their roles in the previous movie as Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes, despite Shia’s unfortunate accident last month.

The Villain

A lot of people isn’t familiar with this guy, “The Fallen“. When I first heard about this, I was like, “Fallen who?” and I had to look it up in Wikipedia to realize who he was. His story was more like that of Star Wars‘ Anakin Skywalker (a Jedi trained by Obi Wan Kenobi just to be lured into the dark side by the evil Emperor Palpatine.)

The Fallen was one of the original thirteen Transformers created by Primus, to become protectors of Cybertron, their home planet. Specifically, he was the overseer of entropy. He later betrayed his creator by siding with Primus’s dark twin, the malevolent planet-eater, Unicron (wow, sounds like The Fallen is much more stronger than Megatron himself!)

New Bots?

I’ve spotted some snapshots in the web of several Autobots that will be included in the film. There’s this really sexy Corvette (or Chevy Stringray?) which is a current “unknown” autobot (my best guess would be Tracks since he’s the only Corvette I know and probably the vainest of all autobots).

The Man Behind The Voice

Peter Cullen will once again give life to the character of the great Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. He did OP’s voice in the previous movie, as well as in the animated series. He also voiced the character in Transformers: The Game.

More (than meets the eye) to come…

TF2 cast and crew is currently filming this would-be BLOCKBUSTER film, and I’m pretty sure that their understated hard work will really pay off next summer, when the new Transformers movie will be shown in the big screen! This movie promises more action, more bots, lots of twists and turns (literally), and lots of transformin! It’s gonna be one heck of a ride. 🙂

Rollin’ out! 🙂

Pretty cool, haven’t seen that one. Thanks. And yeah what you said about the Fallen (never thought of it like that before) but yeah pretty much sums it up. And what’s weird is that I was just talking to a friend about him too.

Yeah, he’s a pretty interesting character who ranges back from like, Transformers “antiquities” 🙂 I really believe he’s a strong character, both physically and mentally, makes the movie much more anticipated than ever! Anyaway, thanks for dropping by! (I saw your blog and loved it!)
